
CLINTON, AR, Sept. 30, 2024: Organizers of the Ozark Moonshine & Music Festival are proud to announce that their event has been awarded a $10,000 โCommunity Ties Giving Programโ grant by Union Pacific Railroad. The festival, now in its third year, is a two-day celebration of Ozark arts and heritage benefitting childrenโs advocacy in central Arkansas.
“This partnership will help in our driven efforts to become the largest live music festival in Arkansas by the year 2027,โ says festival CEO, Ginger Simpson. โThe Community Ties grant will make a measurable impact on our mission to preserve Arkansasโs unique folk culture in a way that empowers and enriches our future. Through our support of childrenโs advocacy, we aim to mobilize our community in a collective effort to eradicate child neglect and abuse in our state.โ
Union Pacificโs Community Ties Giving Program provides small- and medium-sized grants that align with the railroadโs priority cause areas in safety, workforce development, community vitality and environmental sustainability.

The 3rd Annual Ozark Moonshine & Music Festival will be Friday & Saturday, November 1 & 2, 2024 at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds in Clinton, Arkansas. The event will showcase a wide range of country, bluegrass, and folk music, including headliners โLONESTARโ and โThe Gravel Yard Bluegrass Band,โ plus arts & crafts vendors, live demonstrations, historic re-enactments, and educational exhibits and activities highlighting the legacy of the stateโs distilling industry.
